hace mucho que no escribo,
ya lo se, pero entre las 7 o 8 traducciones semanales que tenemos,
el trabajo y además estoy aquejado por unos dolores en la pierna y la espalda,
por lo cual no me puedo concentrar mucho...
Pero casí estamos en navidades y me quedaran 5 meses para terminar la licenciatura...
Entonces podré trabajar en lo que me gusta...
A ver hacia donde nos lleva el camino...
Todavia tengo que terminar el diario de nuestras fabulosas vacaciones en Italia, con sus fotos,
cuando esté os aviso.
Felices fiestas a todas y todos
(aunque no me han gustado nunca las navidades, y cada año me gustan menos: hace 3,5 años que mi mama se fue y este año tampoco estará mi suegra que nos dejo el año pasado...)

it's been a while since,
I know, but this last year in University we have about 7 translations a week, so not much time left to do other things, and there's work to off course... But I've been troubled by a severe pain in the leg which has now extended to the back , so at the moment i'm not working, but the pain makes it dificult to concentrate...
But it's almost Christmas, then there will only be 5 months left and I'll be translator interpreter and I'll finally be able to work in something I like...
I stil have to finish our journey report about our fabulouis holiday in Italy this summer, together with the pictures, when I finish it I'll let you know.

(I´ve never really liked Christmas and ever since my mother passed away I like it even less, and this year my mother in law won't be there either, she left us to join my mumm last year...)

Hallo,
ik weet dat het lang geleden is dat ik nog iets geschreven heb,
maar we hebben dit jaar 7 a 8 vertalingen per week en ik moet ook nog werken (alhoewel ik nu op ziekteverlof ben, ik heb problemen in een been en in de rug (moar tes nie hernstigkes)...
nog een paor moantsches en dan emme gedoan mee de studies....
'k moe nog de fotos en het verslag van onze reis naar italië klaarmaken,
ik laat jullie weten als het zo ver is.
Zalig kerstfeest en gelukkig nieuwjaar .
(ik ben nooit een grote fan van de feesten geweest en sinds mama de Muynck er niet meer bij is minder, en dit jaar is ook de mama van nNati er niet meer dus..)
Als ik een beetje meer tijd heb zal ik jullie nog wat meer laten weten.

7 de junio: Interpretación Inglés- Castellano.
8 de junio: Derecho Comparado…
9 de junio: Ética profesional.
12 de junio: Castellano – Alemán.
13 de junio: Alemán – Castellano.
14 de junio: Castellano – Francés.
15 de junio: Francés – Castellano.
16 de junio: Teoría de la traducción ( no me presento porque hago dos trabajos para cada una de las partes de la asignatura: en la primera parte “Historia” he sacado un 9,5, se trataba del trabajo sobre las traducciones de Hamlet en Europa…)

5-6: vertalen van Juridisch engels naar spaans.
6-6: vertalen van financieel spaans naar engels.
7-6: tolken engels - spaans
8-6: vergelijkend Recht.
9-6: professionele moraal.
12-06: vertalen van spaans naar duits.
13-06: vertalen van duits naar spaans.
14-06: vertalen van spaans naar frans.
15-06: vertalen van frans naar spaans.
16-06: vertalingstheorie. ( maar ik moet het examen niet doen want ik doe de twee opdrachten die we kunnen doen die de twee delen van het examen vervangen, in het eerste deel, geschiedenis van de vertaling heb ik 9,5 gehaalt: het was het werk betreffende de eerste vertalingen van Hamlet in Europa…)
“Alea jacta est” de teerling is geworpen.

En dan gaan we op onzen "leegen urs" op het strandetsche etsche van Mallorca gaan relaxen....

Hola buenos días a todos,
esta noche doy los 15 días en el restaurante y me largo...
mi mujer y yo nos vamos a Mallorca para 3,5 meses...
Ya que se vende la casa de mi suegra, queremos despedirnos de la casa y la familia .
Será la última vez que estemos todos juntos allí que felicidad, me largo del restaurante....
Ya estoy mandando CV a hoteles en Mallorca para trabajar en la recepción...
Y luego en octubre haremos practicas en una empresa de traducción para luego incorporarme en ella... Y finalmente prepararme para el mercado laboral...
Nada más, a si leer la pagina anterior no mandé aviso porque no la tenía traducida aun...
A la PLAYA vamos...

tonight is the night,
I'm telling my boss i'll be leaving the job in two weeks time...
Then exams and the 15 of june I'm out of Madrid untill october.
because my mother in law died they are going to sell her house (shortly) and we want to go over a last summer to share the experience with there, to say goodbye to a house that has been a home to my wife for a very long time...
But I'm so happy I'm finally leaving the restaurant...
And when I get back to Madrid I'll be doing some practice in a translation company, to be able to start working for them afterwards...
I've been sending CV to several hotels in Mallorca to work in recepción...
And the rest of the time I'll lay my lazy arse on the sand at the BEACH...
That's all folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10 años en España, cumpleaños feliz, cumpleaños feliz, te deseamos todos ...
Parece a la vez legano y tan cerca...
Muchas cosas han sucedido en estos últimos 10 años,
cosas buenas y cosas malas.
Vine solo con Maite, mi gatita, sin licenciatura...
Ahora estoy casado desde hace casi 6 años, y gracias a mi querida mujercita casí tengo una licenciatura (bueno yo también pusé de mi parte, pero el empujón inicial lo dío mi niñita)...
Pero mi abuela que siempre había vivido en la casa al lado de la nuestra, con la cual tenía una relación muy, muy especial, se fue, y no pudé volver a verla desde que viné a España...
Maite, la gatita que me acompañó durante más de doce años también desaparecío...
Y hace dos años y medio (19-06-2003) se fue la persona más importante en la vida: LA MADRE, sin ella no hay vida...
Lo que tiene el vivir en otro país es que uno no puede ver las personas queridas (que viven en dicho país) tan a menudo como uno quisiera. Había 3 años que no veía a mi madre, y faltaban solo 3 meses para volver a verla, abrazarla, hacerla reir...
Ahora esta conmigo, pero en mi corazón...
Y el año pasado también se fue mi suegra, la palabra suegra siempre ha ido de una connotación negativa, por lo menos de la forma que se habla de las suegras (yo personalmente solo he conocido a una), hasta conocí a Encarna.
La pobrecita se fue a causa de la lacra del siglo 20 y 21, el "crecimiento descontrolado de celulas". El 3 de noviembre 2005.
Tenía su caracter, como mi mujercita y como yo. Pero me quería mucho y yo a ella.
Echo de menos a mi padre (aunque hemos tenido muchas diferencias de opinión a lo largo de la vida: el niño (yo) siempre ha sido ( y será) rebelde), mis amigos Kurt (su mujercita Kristel, y sus dos encantos de hijitas), Cousse y por supuesto mi hermana (adoptiva) Els , su marido Koen y su hijita Tess que aun no he visto en vivo y en directo...

10 years in Spain, happy birthday to you!!!!!
It seems so long ago, but then again so close...
A lot of things have happened in the ast ten years...
good things and bad things.
I came all by myself, me and my Cat "Maite", no university degree...
And now I've been married for allmost 6 years, and thanks to my beloved wife y allmost have a university degree ( well, I allso did something to get that far off course, but the first push in the good direction was given by my love).
But my grandma whom had always lived next door to us, with whom I had a nship, has passed away, and I wasn't able to see her again, since I came to Spain...
Maite , my lovefull cat, who was my solemate for more then 12 years, also disappeared.
And nearly three years ago (19-06-2003) the most important person in my live left:
my mother, without a mother there is no live possible , is there?
One of the things about living in another country is that you can't see the people who you love (that live in the country you come from) as often as you would like to.
It had been 3 years since i last saw my mother, and in 3 months time I was going to go to Belgium to see her, to hug her, to make her laugh,...
But now she close to me, but in a different way, in my heart...
And last year my mother in law also left us, the words "mother in law" always seem to call up images of a hatefull person who wants to make your life impossible, but Encarna was very different.
The poor woman left us due to the curse of the 20th and the 21st century: "the uncontrolled growth of human cells. She went on the 3th of november of 2005.
She had quite a caracter, like my wife and like me. But she loved me , and I loved her.
I do miss my father aswell (allthough we had a lot of different opinions about a lot off things: the Kid (me) has always been (and will always be ) a rebel.
I miss my friends: Kurt, (his wife and there two lovely daughters), Coussemy adopted sister, her husband Koen and their daughter, whom I heven't seen live and direct yet...

Hola todos,
hace mucho que no me pongo en contacto con vosotros, pero la causa es un a sobrecarga de trabajos para la universidad.
Bueno tanto como sobrecarga , tampoco.
Para teoría de la traducción estoy haciendo una busqueda de las primeras traducciones de un clasico en varios paises, :
Hamlet en Bélgica (1771 en francés y 1779 en Néerlandes), Francia(1746), Alemania(1815) y por supuesto España(1826).
Y en uno de ellos tengo que hacer una investigación un poco más profunda, sobre cada cuanto tiempo sale una nueva edición etc...
Muy interesante... Pero cuesta tiempo...
Además estoy inmerso en un trabajo de derecho comparado, sobre la ley del Genocidio en Belgica (también conocida como ley del 16 de junio 1993)
El porque de esta ley, algunos casos que han salido en los tribunales, las varias adaptaciones que se han hecho desde que salio la ley y su futuro...
con todo esto me temo que me queda muy poquito tiempo para escibiros...

Hello everybody,
It’s been a while since i’ve made contact with you, but this is caused by an overload of work for university.
It isn’t really as much as an overload …
For Translation theory I’m doing a research on the first translations of a classic book in different countries, I’ve chosen “Hamlet”:
In Belgium (1771 in French and in 1779 in Flemish), France (1746), Germany(1815) and of course in Spain (1826). And after that I have to go looking for how often the published etc…
Very interesting…but it takes some time…
And I’m also quite busy in a research for compared law, about the Genocide law in Belgium (also known as the law of the 16th of June 1993 .
Why this law exists, it’s historical backgrounds, some of the cases that have been reported to the Belgian justice, the different changes that has undergone the law, and it’s future…
Due to all this (and that I work 45 (at least) hours a week in a restaurant, and I have to spend some time with my beloved as well) a I’m not very available…

Het is een reptieltje (‘s lang) geleden dat ik met jullie in contact heb gestaan, maar het komt door een kleine overvloed van werk voor de uni…
Voor vertalingsteorie ben ik een opzoekwerk aan het doen ivm de eerste vertalingen van een klassiek werk, Hamlet:
In den Belgique (1771 in ‘t frans en 1779 in ‘t vlaams), Frankrijk (1746), Duitsland (1815) en natuurlijk ook Spanje (1826).
En dan moet ik ook nog iets verder bekijken, om de hoeveel jaar warden de vertalingen gepubliceerd etc…
Heel interessantsches, maar er kruipt natuurlijk wel een beetje tijd in…
En dan heb ik ook nog een “onderzoekswerksen” voor vergelijkend recht, ik heb gekozen voor de unieke wet in de wereld: de genocidewet of wet van 16 juni 1993.

hace mucho que no me pongo en contacto con vosotros, pero la causa es un a sobrecarga de trabajos para la universidad.
Bueno tanto como sobrecarga , tampoco.
Para teoría de la traducción estoy haciendo una busqueda de las primeras traducciones de un clasico en varios paises, :
Hamlet en Bélgica (1771 en francés y 1779 en Néerlandes), Francia(1746), Alemania(1815) y por supuesto España(1826).
Y en uno de ellos tengo que hacer una investigación un poco más profunda, sobre cada cuanto tiempo sale una nueva edición etc...
Muy interesante... Pero cuesta tiempo...
Además estoy inmerso en un trabajo de derecho comparado, sobre la ley del Genocidio en Belgica (también conocida como ley del 16 de junio 1993)
El porque de esta ley, algunos casos que han salido en los tribunales, las varias adaptaciones que se han hecho desde que salio la ley y su futuro...
con todo esto me temo que me queda muy poquito tiempo para escibiros...

It’s been a while since i’ve made contact with you, but this is caused by an overload of work for university.
It isn’t really as much as an overload …
For Translation theory I’m doing a research on the first translations of a classic book in different countries, I’ve chosen “Hamlet”:
In Belgium (1771 in French and in 1779 in Flemish), France (1746), Germany(1815) and of course in Spain (1826). And after that I have to go looking for how often the published etc…
Very interesting…but it takes some time…
And I’m also quite busy in a research for compared law, about the Genocide law in Belgium (also known as the law of the 16th of June 1993 .
Why this law exists, it’s historical backgrounds, some of the cases that have been reported to the Belgian justice, the different changes that has undergone the law, and it’s future…
Due to all this (and that I work 45 (at least) hours a week in a restaurant, and I have to spend some time with my beloved as well) a I’m not very available…

Het is een reptieltje (‘s lang) geleden dat ik met jullie in contact heb gestaan, maar het komt door een kleine overvloed van werk voor de uni…
Voor vertalingsteorie ben ik een opzoekwerk aan het doen ivm de eerste vertalingen van een klassiek werk, Hamlet:
In den Belgique (1771 in ‘t frans en 1779 in ‘t vlaams), Frankrijk (1746), Duitsland (1815) en natuurlijk ook Spanje (1826).
En dan moet ik ook nog iets verder bekijken, om de hoeveel jaar warden de vertalingen gepubliceerd etc…
Heel interessantsches, maar er kruipt natuurlijk wel een beetje tijd in…
En dan heb ik ook nog een “onderzoekswerksen” voor vergelijkend recht, ik heb gekozen voor de unieke wet in de wereld: de genocidewet of wet van 16 juni 1993.

¿Qué tal todos? Espero que bien.
Se acabaron los exámenes (para 4 meses por lo menos), BIEN...
He aquí las previsiones:
- 30 de enero Terminología: como se trata de un conjunto de notas (examen escrito 20% y un trabajo de investigación en Internet) no he hecho pronostico, pero creo que he aprobado, pongamos un 6.
- 31 de enero Derecho Comparado: Principios del derecho y comparación del Derecho continental con el Derecho Anglosajón. Las clases lo da un viejo conocido: Ramón Garrido, trabajo como traductor en la ONU y tiene además la carrera de Derecho. Digo viejo conocido porque tuve clases de traducción que impartía el en primero. Además es el único suspenso que tuve hasta la fecha (4,5). Cuando le pedí una revisión de examen, y vi el examen, me dijo:
“¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡Podría haberte dado un 5 pero así sacaras mejor nota en septiembre!!!!!!!!”
Que bonito. Y adivinad que nota saque en septiembre... UN 5,2... Además el año siguiente para traducción inglés castellano saque en el examen final 7 (o más no me acuerdo exactamente (cuando es más de cinco me quedo tranquilo y me olvido) , se supone que en segundo año los textos para traducir son de un nivel más alto...
Creo que aprobé, pronostico entre 5 y 6.
- 1 de febrero 1015 interpretación inglés castellano.
Por primera vez desde que estoy en la universidad, he ido a un examen con ganas...
El examen consiste en lo siguiente: hay 3 profesoras y un orador, entras con un compañero o una compañera de clase. El orador habla durante unos 10 minutos sobre un tema de actualidad, en inglés, los alumnos tomamos nota de lo que dice. Cuando termina el orador podemos hacer preguntas (2 por alumno) luego uno de los dos alumnos sale y el otro reproduce según sus posibilidades el discurso del orador en castellano. Después entra el segundo alumno y idem. El que entra primero en estos examenes de febrero entrará segundo en los examenes de junio. Como es el primer año que tenemos esta asignatura, lo más importante es trasmitir las ideas principales y claro esta no añadir nada de nuestra propia cosecha. Tenemos que ser el instrumento a través el cual un orador se comunica con los oyentes.
Dato interesante todos las y los profesores ( en este orden porque tenemos 6 profesoras y un profesor) trabajan actualmente en la comunidad europea o han trabajado en ella como interprete durante al menos 10 años...
Pues creo que me ha salido muy bien, nota ni idea, como hasta ahora no nos han puntuado en ningún ejercicio...
Pero creo que merezco un 8 (o más).
- 1 de febrero 1800-2100 traducción jurídica inglés castellano.
La traducción era parte de una citación para una junta general de accionistas. 3 horas de examen y las hemos necesitado...
El profesor es abogado y traductor interprete jurado...
Creo que entre 6 y 7.
- 2 de febrero traducción comercial castellano inglés.
Texto que trataba sobre un error de Bancaja y sus consecuencias.
La profesora es traductora entre otros de Bill Gates y Microsoft...
Creo que más o menos un 7.
- 3 de febrero informática aplicada a la traducción.
Dos ejercicios: uno sobre el uso de programas de traducción y otro sobre el uso de las memorias de traducción.
Creo que un 6.
- 6 de febrero traducción de castellano alemán.
2 partes una parte gramática y otra traducción.
La traducción era una carta para pedir información a un hotel sobre sus precios y la posibilidad de organizar una reunión de vendedores en el hotel con varias actividades. Para mi una de las traducciones más difíciles: ya que escribir alemán de forma perfecta no es sencillo.
Creo que entre 6 y 7.
- 7 de febrero traducción alemán castellano.
La traducción era un texto sobre la vida de Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Creo que alrededor de un 7.
- 8 de febrero traducción castellano francés.
La traducción era una carta de la fundación César Manrique, que en su labor para catalogar todas las obras del artista escribe a un taller donde posiblemente puede haber trabajado el artista en un tapiz que la fundación no tiene localizado.
Creo que entre 6 y 7.
- 9 de febrero traducción francés castellano.
La traducción era un articulo sobre el Parlamento europeo y los problemas que surgen al ampliarse dicho parlamento.
Dato interesante el profesor se llama jose maria Marco, y ha sido el asesor personal de “otro José maria”, pues si Aznar, en su estancia en Georgetown...
Creo que entre 6 y 7.

Tengo 10 días de vacaciones ahora, no tengo que trabajar (solo una tarde) bien...
¿Y que pienso hacer? Pues algunas cosas en casa que hace falta arreglar, repasar los símbolos para la interpretación y ayudar a mi niña que se esta preparando para el acceso a la universidad...
Y mientras al otro lado del globo, en Cuba se encuentran los compañeros de clase que están celebrando el fin de curso (un año temprano), incluso algunos van a aprovechar la cercania para acercarse a Costa Rica...
Mientras yo me quedo en Carabanchel... Mi hora vendrá...

How are you guys? I hope everything is ok.
I just finished the exams ( for at least another 4 months), good...
Here are the results (I think I’ll gave):
- 30th of january Terminology: the results are divided in to sections: one is an exam on 20 points and the other 80 are on a in research in internet. This makes it a bit difficult to say how well (or not) it went. I think I’ll have a 6/10.
- 31th of january compaired law: the principles of law and the comparison between Continantal law and Common law. The lessons are given by an “old acquiantance”:
Ramón Garrido, worked for the UN as translator and has also studied Law. I said “an old acquaintance” because he gave us lessons of translation the first year of University. And he has had the “privilege” to be the one and only (so far) that has failed me in an final exam (4.5 out of 10). When I went to see the exam, he told me:
“I could have passed you with a five, but this way you’ll get a better mark in september!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” How nice, guess what I got in September 5.2...
I think I’ve passed the exam between 5 and 6 I guess.
- 1st of february 1015 english spanish interpreting.
For the first time since I’m at university, I went eagerly to an exam ...
The exam consist of: there are three teachers and an orator, and you come in in pairs. The orator talks about more or less current events, for about 10 minutes, in english, the students take notes. When the orator finishes we can ask questions (2 per person) then one of the two students leaves the classroom and the other one has to repeat the orators talk (as best as he or she can) in spanish. Then it’s the second student turn. The one that is first in this exam will be second in the exam in june. For it’s the first year that we have this subject, the most important thing is to transmit the main ideas of the talk, and above all not add anything. We have to be the tool through which the orator comunicates with the auditors.
And an interesting detail: all the teachers are or have been interpreters in the European Community for at least 10 years...
I do think I did it well, what mark I’ll get? Because untill now we didn’t get any marks for the interpretations done so far, I have no idea.
But I think I deserva an 8 (or more).

Two parts. One grammar and the other translation. The translation was a letter to a hotel asking for information, because a company was about to celebrate a convention. In my humble opinion one of the most dificult translations because to write perfectly in german isn’t easy.

The translation was an article about the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The translation was a letter from the spanish art foundation César Manrique, that is making a catalogue with all the work of the artist. This letter is adressed to a french workshop where the artist might have worked on a tapestry that the foundation is looking for.
I think between 6 and 7.
- 9th of february translation french spanish.
The translation was a press article about the european parliament and the problems arisen with its expansion.
An interesting detail, the teachers name is José María Marco, and he has been the personal advisor of another “José María”, yes you guessed it right Aznar (former president of Spain), during Aznars stay in Georgetown...

I have a 10 day holiday now, I don’t have to work (only one night) good...
And what will I be doing? Well, something have to be taken care of, then I have to practise the taking of notes for the interpreting and help my girl to prepare for the exam to access the university...
And meanwhile at the other end of the globe, Cuba, there are the rest of my classmates celebrating their end of course (one year early), some of them are going to go to Costa Rica aswell, because it’s so close...

De vooruitzichten:
- 30 januari Terminologie.
Aangezien het uit 2 delen bestaat ( een schriftelijk examen (20 %) en een opdracht i.v.m. opzoekingen in Internet) is het vrij moelijk te zeggen hoe het gegaan is.
Ik denk 6.
- 31 januari Vergelijkend recht.
Basis ideen van het recht en vergelijking tussen het continentaal recht en het Angelsaksisch recht. De lesson worden door een “oude vriend” gegeven: Ramón Garrido, hij heeft als vertaler in de Verenigde Naties gewerkt en heeft ook nog Recht gestudeerd. Ik noem hem een “oude vriend” omdat hij in het eerste jaar ook les geeft: vertaling engels-spaans. Bovendien is hij de auteur van de tot un toe enige buis (4,5). Toen we samen het examen doornamen, zei hij (letterlijk): “Ik had je een 5 kunnen geven, maar op deze manier zal je een betere uitslag hebben in september!!!!!!!!!” en dit alles wetende dat ik voltijds in een restaurant werk...En rarara wat gaf hij me in september???? 5,2...Bovendien heb ik in het volgende jaar voor het eindexamen vertaling engels spaans 7 (of meer ik weet het niet exact meer
(als het meer dan 5 is ben ik blij en vergeet ik hoeveel het was)), en men veronderstelt dat de text die we moesten vertalen in het 2 jaar voor het eindexamen “iets” moelijker was dan voor het eindexamen van het eerste jaar...
Ik denk dat ik geslaagd heb tussen 5 en 6. Duimen maar.
- 1februari 10u15 vertolking engels spaans.
Het is de eerste keer sinds ik op de universiteit studeer dat ik heel veel zin had om een examen te doen... Het examen gaat als volgt: er zijn drie docenten en een redenaar, we gaan in groepjes van twee naar binnen. De redenaar spreekt gedurende ongeveer 10 minuten over een actueel tema, in het engels, de studenten maken aantekeningen. Als de redenaar klaar is mogen de studenten vragen stellen (max. 2 per student), dan gaat een van de twee studenten naar buiten en de andere student herhaalt het best hij kan wat de redenaar gezegt heeft, in het spaans natuurlijk. Dan komt de tweede student binnen en idem dito. Diegene die eerst gaat in februari gaat tweedes in juni. Aangezien het het eerste jaar is dat we vertolking hebben, is het vooral belangrijk de belangrijkste ideen over te brengen en natuurlijk niets toevoegen ( toevoegen=buis). We zijn het werktuig door het welke de redenaar zich met de spaans sprekende toehoorders.
Interessant om te weten alle docenten ( we hebben er in totaal 6) werken momenteel in de Europeese Gemeenschap of hebben daar als tolk gewerkt gedurende tenminste 10 jaar... Ik heb het heel goed gedaan, hoeveel ik behaalt heb , geen idee, want momenteel hebben ze zich nog nooit in cijfers uitgedrukt...
Ik denk dat ik een 8 (of meer ) verdien.
- 1februari 18h00-21h00 juridische vertaling engels spaans.
De tekst die we moesten vertalen was een deel van de briefwisseling i.v.m. een algemene vergadering van aandeelhouders. De drie uren waren welbesteed...
De docent is advocaat en juridisch vertaler tolk...
Ik denk tussen 6 en 7.

Krantartikel over een fout van de spaanse spaarkas Bancaja en de gevolgen van deze fout.
Onze docente is de vertaalster van Bill Gates en Microsoft o.a. ...

- 3 februari Op vertaling toegepaste informatica.
2 oefeningen: de eerste i.v.m. gebruik van vertaal programmas en de tweede i.v.m. het maken van een vertaal geheugen.

- 6 februari vertaling spaans duits.
Bestond uit twee delen: grammatica en vertaling.
De vertaling bestond uit een brief geschreven door een directeur van deen bedrijf die een vergadering in een hotel wou houden voor 50 van zijn verkopers en een aantal vragen i.v.m. diensten die het hotel verstrekt. Voor mij (en voor velen) een van de moeilijkste vertalingen: want perfekt duits schrijven is niet echt gemakkelijk, naamvallen, enz...
Ik denk tussen 6 en 7.
- 7 februari vertaling duits spaans.
De tekst was een artikel over het leven van Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Ongeveer 7.
- 8 februari vertaling frans spaans.
Het was een vertaling van een brief van de César Manrique Stichting, die een kataloog van alle werken van de kunstenaar aan het maken is en die op zoek is naar een van de wandtapijten die de kunstenaar in een frans atelier gemaakt zou hebben.
Ik denk tussen 6 en 7.
- 9 februari vertaling frans spaans.
Krantenartikel over de problemen die de uitbreiding van het Europees Parlement tot gevolg hebben.
En de docent José María Marco, is de persoonlijke adviseur geweest van een andere José María Aznar (vorige spaanse president (die de spanjaarden in de oorlog in Irak wou steken)) tijdens zijn verblijf in de universiteit van Georgetown...
Ik denk tussen 6 en 7.

Ik heb un 10 daagjes verlof, ik moet niet werken (enkel een avond) en heb ook geen uni, lekker.
Wat ga ik doen? Wel eerst een para dingen in huis in orde brengen, ik heb nooit tijd... dan ook nog oefenen in aantekeningen maken voor de tolklessen en ook mijn “meisje” helpen studeren ze is zich aan het voorbereiden om het ingangsexamen voor de uni te doen...
En ondertussen aan de andere kant van de wereldbol, in Cuba zijn mijn klasgenoten, ze vieren daar het einde van de universiteit (een jaar te vroeg (heel optimistisch he)...
En ondertusssen blijfik in mijn klein apartementje in de buitenwijken van Madrid... Time is on my side. I’ll travel later.
Ja het is de beste , duurste en meest Yuppie universiteit van Spanje( wat vertaler tolk betreft) en 95% van de studenten zijn zoontjes of dochtertjes van belangrijke, rijke ,enz... mensen , en fin en daar tussen beweegtzich de JJ Killer rastaman, Hihihihi....
Vele knuffels aan allemaal en kusjes voor de dames.
Van zodra ik de uitslagen heb zet ik ze in internet en zend jullie een mailtje,

Además el año siguiente para traducción inglés castellano saque en el examen final 7 (o más no me acuerdo exactamente (cuando es más de cinco me quedo tranquilo y me olvido) , se supone que en segundo año los textos para traducir son de un nivel más alto...

Por primera vez desde que estoy en la universidad, he ido a un examen con ganas...
El examen consiste en lo siguiente: hay 3 profesoras y un orador, entras con un compañero o una compañera de clase. El orador habla durante unos 10 minutos sobre un tema de actualidad, en inglés, los alumnos tomamos nota de lo que dice. Cuando termina el orador podemos hacer preguntas (2 por alumno) luego uno de los dos alumnos sale y el otro reproduce según sus posibilidades el discurso del orador en castellano. Después entra el segundo alumno y idem. El que entra primero en estos examenes de febrero entrará segundo en los examenes de junio. Como es el primer año que tenemos esta asignatura, lo más importante es trasmitir las ideas principales y claro esta no añadir nada de nuestra propia cosecha. Tenemos que ser el instrumento a través el cual un orador se comunica con los oyentes.
Dato interesante todos las y los profesores ( en este orden porque tenemos 6 profesoras y un profesor) trabajan actualmente en la comunidad europea o han trabajado en ella como interprete durante al menos 10 años...
Pues creo que me ha salido muy bien, nota ni idea, como hasta ahora no nos han puntuado en ningún ejercicio...
Pero creo que merezco un 8 (o más).

La traducción era parte de una citación para una junta general de accionistas. 3 horas de examen y las hemos necesitado...

Dos ejercicios: uno sobre el uso de programas de traducción y otro sobre el uso de las memorias de traducción.

- 6 de febrero traducción de castellano alemán.
2 partes una parte gramática y otra traducción.
La traducción era una carta para pedir información a un hotel sobre sus precios y la posibilidad de organizar una reunión de vendedores en el hotel con varias actividades. Para mi una de las traducciones más difíciles: ya que escribir alemán de forma perfecta no es sencillo.

La traducción era una carta de la fundación César Manrique, que en su labor para catalogar todas las obras del artista escribe a un taller donde posiblemente puede haber trabajado el artista en un tapiz que la fundación no tiene localizado.
Creo que entre 6 y 7.
- 9 de febrero traducción francés castellano.
La traducción era un articulo sobre el Parlamento europeo y los problemas que surgen al ampliarse dicho parlamento.
Dato interesante el profesor se llama jose maria Marco, y ha sido el asesor personal de “otro José maria”, pues si Aznar, en su estancia en Georgetown...

Tengo 10 días de vacaciones ahora, no tengo que trabajar (solo una tarde) bien...
¿Y que pienso hacer? Pues algunas cosas en casa que hace falta arreglar, repasar los símbolos para la interpretación y ayudar a mi niña que se esta preparando para el acceso a la universidad...
Y mientras al otro lado del globo, en Cuba se encuentran los compañeros de clase que están celebrando el fin de curso (un año temprano), incluso algunos van a aprovechar la cercania para acercarse a Costa Rica...

How are you guys? I hope everything is ok.
I just finished the exams ( for at least another 4 months), good...
Here are the results (I think I’ll gave):
- 30th of january Terminology: the results are divided in to sections: one is an exam on 20 points and the other 80 are on a in research in internet. This makes it a bit difficult to say how well (or not) it went. I think I’ll have a 6/10.
- 31th of january compaired law: the principles of law and the comparison between Continantal law and Common law. The lessons are given by an “old acquiantance”:
Ramón Garrido, worked for the UN as translator and has also studied Law. I said “an old acquaintance” because he gave us lessons of translation the first year of University. And he has had the “privilege” to be the one and only (so far) that has failed me in an final exam (4.5 out of 10). When I went to see the exam, he told me:
“I could have passed you with a five, but this way you’ll get a better mark in september!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” How nice, guess what I got in September 5.2...
I think I’ve passed the exam between 5 and 6 I guess.

For the first time since I’m at university, I went eagerly to an exam ...
The exam consist of: there are three teachers and an orator, and you come in in pairs. The orator talks about more or less current events, for about 10 minutes, in english, the students take notes. When the orator finishes we can ask questions (2 per person) then one of the two students leaves the classroom and the other one has to repeat the orators talk (as best as he or she can) in spanish. Then it’s the second student turn. The one that is first in this exam will be second in the exam in june. For it’s the first year that we have this subject, the most important thing is to transmit the main ideas of the talk, and above all not add anything. We have to be the tool through which the orator comunicates with the auditors.
And an interesting detail: all the teachers are or have been interpreters in the European Community for at least 10 years...
I do think I did it well, what mark I’ll get? Because untill now we didn’t get any marks for the interpretations done so far, I have no idea.
But I think I deserva an 8 (or more).

An interesting detail, the teachers name is José María Marco, and he has been the personal advisor of another “José María”, yes you guessed it right Aznar (former president of Spain), during Aznars stay in Georgetown...

Hoe gaat het ermee? Ik hoop dat alles goed gaat.
Gedaan met de examens (tenminste tot in juni), goed...
De vooruitzichten:
- 30 januari Terminologie.
Aangezien het uit 2 delen bestaat ( een schriftelijk examen (20 %) en een opdracht i.v.m. opzoekingen in Internet) is het vrij moelijk te zeggen hoe het gegaan is.
Ik denk 6.
- 31 januari Vergelijkend recht.
Basis ideen van het recht en vergelijking tussen het continentaal recht en het Angelsaksisch recht. De lesson worden door een “oude vriend” gegeven: Ramón Garrido, hij heeft als vertaler in de Verenigde Naties gewerkt en heeft ook nog Recht gestudeerd. Ik noem hem een “oude vriend” omdat hij in het eerste jaar ook les geeft: vertaling engels-spaans. Bovendien is hij de auteur van de tot un toe enige buis (4,5). Toen we samen het examen doornamen, zei hij (letterlijk): “Ik had je een 5 kunnen geven, maar op deze manier zal je een betere uitslag hebben in september!!!!!!!!!” en dit alles wetende dat ik voltijds in een restaurant werk...En rarara wat gaf hij me in september???? 5,2...Bovendien heb ik in het volgende jaar voor het eindexamen vertaling engels spaans 7 (of meer ik weet het niet exact meer
(als het meer dan 5 is ben ik blij en vergeet ik hoeveel het was)), en men veronderstelt dat de text die we moesten vertalen in het 2 jaar voor het eindexamen “iets” moelijker was dan voor het eindexamen van het eerste jaar...
Ik denk dat ik geslaagd heb tussen 5 en 6. Duimen maar.
- 1februari 10u15 vertolking engels spaans.
Het is de eerste keer sinds ik op de universiteit studeer dat ik heel veel zin had om een examen te doen... Het examen gaat als volgt: er zijn drie docenten en een redenaar, we gaan in groepjes van twee naar binnen. De redenaar spreekt gedurende ongeveer 10 minuten over een actueel tema, in het engels, de studenten maken aantekeningen. Als de redenaar klaar is mogen de studenten vragen stellen (max. 2 per student), dan gaat een van de twee studenten naar buiten en de andere student herhaalt het best hij kan wat de redenaar gezegt heeft, in het spaans natuurlijk. Dan komt de tweede student binnen en idem dito. Diegene die eerst gaat in februari gaat tweedes in juni. Aangezien het het eerste jaar is dat we vertolking hebben, is het vooral belangrijk de belangrijkste ideen over te brengen en natuurlijk niets toevoegen ( toevoegen=buis). We zijn het werktuig door het welke de redenaar zich met de spaans sprekende toehoorders.
Interessant om te weten alle docenten ( we hebben er in totaal 6) werken momenteel in de Europeese Gemeenschap of hebben daar als tolk gewerkt gedurende tenminste 10 jaar... Ik heb het heel goed gedaan, hoeveel ik behaalt heb , geen idee, want momenteel hebben ze zich nog nooit in cijfers uitgedrukt...
Ik denk dat ik een 8 (of meer ) verdien.

De tekst die we moesten vertalen was een deel van de briefwisseling i.v.m. een algemene vergadering van aandeelhouders. De drie uren waren welbesteed...

Bestond uit twee delen: grammatica en vertaling.
De vertaling bestond uit een brief geschreven door een directeur van deen bedrijf die een vergadering in een hotel wou houden voor 50 van zijn verkopers en een aantal vragen i.v.m. diensten die het hotel verstrekt. Voor mij (en voor velen) een van de moeilijkste vertalingen: want perfekt duits schrijven is niet echt gemakkelijk, naamvallen, enz...

De tekst was een artikel over het leven van Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Het was een vertaling van een brief van de César Manrique Stichting, die een kataloog van alle werken van de kunstenaar aan het maken is en die op zoek is naar een van de wandtapijten die de kunstenaar in een frans atelier gemaakt zou hebben.

Krantenartikel over de problemen die de uitbreiding van het Europees Parlement tot gevolg hebben.
En de docent José María Marco, is de persoonlijke adviseur geweest van een andere José María Aznar (vorige spaanse president (die de spanjaarden in de oorlog in Irak wou steken)) tijdens zijn verblijf in de universiteit van Georgetown...

Ik heb un 10 daagjes verlof, ik moet niet werken (enkel een avond) en heb ook geen uni, lekker.
Wat ga ik doen? Wel eerst een para dingen in huis in orde brengen, ik heb nooit tijd... dan ook nog oefenen in aantekeningen maken voor de tolklessen en ook mijn “meisje” helpen studeren ze is zich aan het voorbereiden om het ingangsexamen voor de uni te doen...
En ondertussen aan de andere kant van de wereldbol, in Cuba zijn mijn klasgenoten, ze vieren daar het einde van de universiteit (een jaar te vroeg (heel optimistisch he)...
En ondertusssen blijfik in mijn klein apartementje in de buitenwijken van Madrid... Time is on my side. I’ll travel later.
Ja het is de beste , duurste en meest Yuppie universiteit van Spanje( wat vertaler tolk betreft) en 95% van de studenten zijn zoontjes of dochtertjes van belangrijke, rijke ,enz... mensen , en fin en daar tussen beweegtzich de JJ Killer rastaman, Hihihihi....
Vele knuffels aan allemaal en kusjes voor de dames.

Adios Encarnación Escobedo Escanuela,
Esta madrugada, alrededor de las 5 Encarnación Escobedo Escanuela expiro su último aliento para dejarnos para siempre...
Este verano, al llegar a mallorca mi niña y yo, Encarna (mi suegra) estuvo aquejada de dolores en el estomago, llevaba varios días sin comer. Ya había estado 2 veces en urgencias en las dos últimas semanas, pero le mandaron sendas veces a casa, con unas pastillas y dijiendo: "¡¡¡ Que no tenía nada!!!"
Mi mujer acompaño su madre a urgencias, después de esperarun largo rato , volvío a ocurrir lo de siempre. Iban a mandarla a casa, pero no contaron con la insistencia de mi niña. Mi mujer les comunico que no se movía de allí hasta que le hicieran las pruebas necesarias y le dijieran lo que tenía su madre. Primero le dijieron que habían visto unas manchas en el estomago...
Luego que tenía unas ulceras, y que le iban a operar despues de hacerle un TAC.
A la semana le hacen el TAC, y le dicen a mi mujer que su madre tiene cancer, terminal y que la esperanza de vida que le dan es de entre 3 y 8 meses. Con quimio...
Encarna siempre le dijo a sus hijos que si algun día tuviera algo que por favor no se lo dijieran... Y así lo hicieron. Le dijieron que tenía ulceras y quie tenía que quidarse mucho.
Las sesiones de quimio no le sentaron nada bien, estaba muy , muy mal durante 10 días y unos días estaba bien, pero al poco tiempo tenía que volver a someterse a ellas (cada 15 días)...

Pero Encarna es Encarna: se fue con sus dos ovarios... Con Alejandro ( su nieto), y su "marido", pero a los pocos días no para de tener mareos... Mi mujer se baja a Granada, al llegar le pregunta a Manolo ( "Marido" y encargado de administrar las multiples pastillas que tiene que tomar Encarna a lo largo del día) si le ha dado las pastillas contra el mareo. Pero él no sabe de que pastillas habla...
Mi niña se encarga de cuidar a su madre y unos diás después ya ha recuperado el apetito...
Pero por la noche le duele mucho la pierna, el día siguiente no ha mejorado y además la pierna esta caliente y roja. Mi mujer dice que se tienen que ir a urgencias, pero el "M" dice que llamara al medico de cabecera para pedir hora, así no tienen que esperar durante horas en urgencias... Y Encarna no quiere saber nada, ya que es la hora del culebron, que se pare el mundo... Mi mujer se tiene que cabrear para que le hagan caso.
Al llegar a urgencias, mi mujer acompaña a su madre al hacerle las pruebas, incluso se adelanta para hablar con los diferentes medicos, y comentarles lo que tiene su madre y el hecho que no lo sabe, y que por favor no le dijan nada. Imaginense el estress: entre la incertidumbre, el miedo , y el hecho que no quiere que su madre llege a saber la verdad. Ya que su madre llevaba dos años de depressión, solo le faltaba esta noticia como para que se hunda del todo.Resultado de los análisis: un trombosis que empezo en la pierna y que esta a punto de entrar en el corazon: si llega una o dos horas más tarde al hospital no lo cuenta...
Mi niña me llama , muy nerviosa, y hablo con el jefe en el trabajo, diciendo que mi suegra esta ingresada, que esta muy mal y que quiero ir me para Granada. Pregunto cuantos diás me corresponden, me dicen que nada ya que no es un familiar directo... Lo miro en el convenio del trabajo y resulta que son dos días para ingreso y dos más porque se encuentra en otra comunidad. Por la mañana llamo al trabajo y explico el caso al secretario y me voy para Granada.
Encarna esta en cuidados intensivos. Ahora entra de nuevo en escena el "M", nos hemos olvidado de Alejandro: 10 años, su abuela es su diosa. ¿Donde está? ¿En casa de algún familiar en Granada? No, esta en la entrada de urgencias, viendo las ambulancias que llegan con heridos, y claro como nadie le dice nada... El "M" solo fuma fuera... Mi niña esta muy preocupada, y no quere liarla más. LLama la madre del niño -se ha enterada que Encarna esta en el hospital- le dice a mi niña que Alejandro se tiene que venir para Palma a su casa que no le gusta que este en el hospital metido todo el día...Mi niña se lo comenta a Alejandro, que como siempre se enfada cuendo no le dan lo que quiere... Cuidados intensivos tiene un horario de visitas bastante restringuido, llega la hora, entramos en la sala ( niño incluido).
Bueno nada más, el lunes 31-10-2005 llaman a mi niña diciendo que su mama esta muy mal, aunque el día anterior estaba muy bien... Bueno mi niña no puede coger avion, tuvo un aterrizaje de emergencia hace unos cuantos años y sus ganas de volver a volar han ido menguando cada vez más. Nosotros vivimos en Madrid... Nati llamo para ver si había barco a Mallorca, no había hasta el miercoles. Mi niña pregunta a su hermano si puede hablar con su mama le dice que no que no puede hablar... Sugiero a mi niña que tome un avión, y me dice que ya lo ha pensado pero que NO PUEDE.
Pues nada el miercoles buscamos un barco, por la mañana temprano nos vamos a Atocha, para coger un tren hacía Valencia. ¡¡¡Hay huelga de trenes y autobuses!!!

Goodbye Encarnación Escobedo Escanuela,
This morning, at around 5 o’clock in the morning, expired her last breath, to abandon us forever…
This summer, when we arrived at Mallorca, mi girl and I, Encarna (my mother in law) was complaining about bellyacke, she hadden’t eaten anything for days. SAhe had already been in emergencies twice in the last two weeks, but they send her home, with some pills and saying: That she there was nothing wrong!!!!
Mi wife took her mum to emergencies again, after they had waited a long time, the same thing happened again: they were gonna send her home. But they didn’t count with my wife. She told them that they weren’t going anywhere until they found out what was wrong with her mum. After checking her some more they told my girl that her mum had some spots in her stomack...
A few days later they did some more tests and they told the family that she had ulcers and that they were gonna submit her to surgery after they did a TAC.
A week later they do the TAC, and they tell my girl that her mum has cancer, final, and that her life expectancy was between 3 and 8 months (if she took chemotherapy)…
Encarna always said to her children that if she had anything serious that she didn’t want to know anything about it… So that’s what they did, they told her she had ulcers and that she had to take good care of her self.

Ya era hora, el verano con sus encantos y sus muchos desencantos ha parecido eterno...
Tengo ganas de volver y afilar las armas de traductor y de interprete...
Por lo menos en el trabajo puedo practicar los tres idiomas: tengo un compañero marroqui con el cual practico Francés ( el idioma se entiende), con otro compañero venezolano practico ingles y acaban de fichar un chico cubano que ha vivido en alemania y habla muy bien...

Hoy es un día de celebración, hace 5 años que subimos mi novia y yo al castillo de Belver en palma de Mallorca, para casarnos...

Today is a special day, 5 years ago, my girlfriend and I were going up to the castle of "Belver" in Palma de Mallorca, to go down the "eyle" ( still have to check the spelling).
Time flies, I never even noticed that we've been this long together, i´m still as in love as in the beginning, we had our little misunderstandings but quickly the clouds left the sky and everything was wonderful again...

Adios Mama, goodbye Mum, Vaarwel Moeke,
Bueno, hoy es un día triste,
hace 2 años que la vida de mi mama fue truncada,
sin previo aviso, con 54 años dejo este lugar llamado tierra,
nunca bebió, nunca fumó, pero llegó su hora...
Hacia dos años y medio que no había sentido su abrazo,
que no le di un beso,
que había olido esta fragancia tan peculiar,
la que tiene cada madre, que nos hace retroceder en el pasado ,
en la temprana enfancia.
Ya no me preparara nadia el Cous-cous como lo hacia ella,
cada vez que volvia a casa, alli estaba...
Quedaban solo dos meses para que me fuera a Bélgica,
pero no pudo ser.
Este pequeño mensaje en honor a ella, a sumemoria...

QUEDAN SOLO 5 DÍAS PARA LOS RESULTADOS.
Exámenes:SE ACABARON, EL 24 TENDRÉ LOS RESULTADOS DEFINITIVOS... (A CRUZAR LOS DEDOS)1 de junio Lengua y cultura Española (nota estimada 6,5/10).
2 de junio Traducción Inglés-Castellano (nota estimada 6/10).
3 de junio Traducción Castellano-Inglés (nota estimada entre 6,5 y 8 no fue nada fácil).
6 de junio Alemán ( por lo bajo tendría que sacar un 6,5).
7 de junio Traducción Francés-Castellano (+-6,5).
8 de junio Traducción Castellano-Francés ( difícil +- 6).
10 de junio Francés (bueno se acabó , creo que me ha salido bien, aqui en particular nunca se sabe hasta no ver la nota..., con un 5 me conformo)
ya realizados en febrero:
Lengua y cultura inglésa: 5,8/10.
Documentación aplicada a la traducción: 9/10.
Pensamiento Social Cristiano: 6/10.

6th of june German (I think at least I got a 6.5).

10th of june French ( so it's over, i think it went ok, but in this case you never know untill you get the mark...).

como dejar un comentario, how to comment.
Como dejar un comentario sin sudar.
A raiz de la gran cantidad de comentarios que se han publicado en mi blog, me he dado cuenta que el diseño no facilita los comentarios. Sin embargo, hay una posibilidad de escribir algo en mi blog, de forma facil: pinchar "comment" y luego ( muy importante) seleccionar ANONIMO, escribir lo que le de la gana y firmar con su nombre...
P.D. Puede ser que nadie escribe nada aqui sencilamente porque no le gusta escribir (esto me da lo mismo) el que entra aqui tiene que escribir algo y punto pelota (como dice mi profesora de lengua). Al principio pense que nadie visitaba mi blog, pero desde que instale el contador, se que no es asi. Siempre me complace leer algo de vosotros,

As I've seen that the visitors are writing such a great amount of comment, I've been looking what the problem might be. And I've come to the conclusion that the blog doesn't make it easy to write comments, unless... You click "comment" and then you select ANONIMOUS, that way you don't have to give a name , pasword, email, etc. You just write and than put your name under what you've writtten...
P.D. At first I thought that there was noone entering my blog, and that was the reason that noone wrote anything in my blog. But since I've installed the counter I know that's not the reason... So WRITE me , I always like to read something,

ter gelegenheid van de overwelmende hoeveelheid, "comments" die ik ontvangen heb in het vlaams ( 1tje die ik zelf geschreven heb om te zien hoe het gaat), heb ik besloten eens te kijken wat er mis gegaan is. En ik heb gezien dat er een manier is om direct iets te kunnen schrijven zonder gegevens te geven zoals naam, email, paswoord enz... je klikt op "comment" en dan klik je op ANONIEM,en zo kan je direct schrijven, en je laatste lijntje schrijf je je naam en klaar is kees (hihi hollands).
P.D. Het kan natuurlijk ook zijn dat de bezoekers niet echt veel, lust hebben om te schrijven...Eerst dacht ik dat er niemand in mijn blog kwam kijken, maar sinds ik de teller heb weet ik dat het niet zo is, dus SCHRIJVEN MAAR, het doet me altijd plezier iets te lezen van jullie...

Buenos días a todos,
Pues si ya esta la recta final, solo quedan quince días para que empiecen los exámenes… y con ellos las vacaciones en el trabajo…
Después tendré unos meses de vida más o menos normal…
Hasta ahora mi horario semanal era un tanto (sobre) cargado:
Lunes:
7.15: levantarse
8.30: clase hasta las 13.30.
14.20: casa una siesta de +- 45 minutos (en razón del cansancio acumulado)
Estudiar un rato…
19.15: salir corriendo hacia el trabajo.
19.50: cenar y trabajar.
Trabajar hasta (depende del cliente) entre: 00.15 y 01.30…
Llegar a casa depende de las conexiones en el metro entre 01.00 y 02.30.
Dormir… (Sabiendo que dentro de unas pocas horas suena el despertador).
Martes:
7.15: igual.
Clase hasta las 14.30…
Resto del día igual al lunes.
Miércoles:
7.15: igual.
Clase hasta la 10.20… (Primera parte del año hasta las 12.50).
Corriendo a casa para una pequeña siesta.
12.30 Salir hacia el trabajo…
13.10 Comer.
13.30 Abren las puertas del restaurante.
Trabajar hasta (mínimo (pero no muy frecuente)) 16.15 o incluso hasta las 18.00
(O más: depende de lo “plasta” que sean los clientes).
Descansar otro rato, si termino pronto en casa, sino en la parte trasera del restaurante.
Por la noche el mismo programa que lunes y martes.
Jueves:
7.15: igual
Clase de 8.30 hasta 17.20 (una hora para comer entre las 14.00 y 15.00).
¡¡¡¡Único día que no trabajo!!!!
Por la noche, cenita romantica (velitas, vinito,...) y película.
Viernes:
10.30: Levantarse (primera parte del año a las 7.15 igual)
12.00 hasta 14.20 clase.
Dormir siesta y luego estudiar un poco (hasta las 19.15).
Trabajar hasta la 1y algo, y si tengo mala suerte incluso hasta las 2 de la mañana… (Fin de semana, fiesta divertimiento para todos (menos para los que trabajan, claro está)).
Sábado:
11.55: levantarse.
12.30: metro hacia el trabajo.
Entre los dos turnos de trabajo me quedo en el restaurante, para estudiar, o para descansar (siesta) ya que tardo una media de 35 minutos para llegar a casa, ida y vuelta son más de una hora…
Hora de salida igual que el viernes.
Domingo:
Igual que el sábado.
Única diferencia que por la noche, (con un poco de suerte) salgo antes…
Por la noche me cuesta un poco dormirme, ya que me he acostado dos días a las tantas 04.00 de la mañana…
Así llevo dos años, y la verdad que me cuesta. Pero cuando pienso en lo que me espera al final del camino, aguanto…
Bien pues a partir del mes que viene tendré otro horario en el trabajo, no se aun cual pero tendré 2 días y medio libre seguidos... y a descansar un poco.
Además si apruebo el segundo año (y pienso lograrlo) en el tercer año tenemos clase a partir de las 15.00. ¡¡¡¡Que bien!!!!
Y este verano nos espera el sur de Francia e Italia, quedan menos de dos meses…

But that also means I won’t be working (holidays)…
After that I’ll have a more or less normal life…
Because until now my schedule was a bit heavy:
Monday:
7.15: get up
8.30: university until 13.30.
14.20: home and a nap (siesta) +-45 minutes (depending on how sleepy I am)
Study a while…
19.15: get to the subway and go to work.
19.50: have diner and work.
Work until (depending the costumers) between: 00.15 and 01.30…
Get home depending how the subway connects between 01.00 and 02.30.
Sleep… (Knowing that within a few hours the alarm will start buzzing…).
Tuesday.
7.15: the same thing.
University until 14.30…
The rest of the day, same thing as Monday.
Wednesday:
7.15: the same thing.
University until 10.20… (The first part of the year until 12.50).
Quickly home to take a little nap (siesta).
12.30 get the subway to go to work…
13.10 Eat.
13.30 The restaurant opens.
Work until (at least 16.15 (but more likely until)) 18.00 or later. (Depending on how annoying the clients are).
Relax a little; if I finish early I go home, if not I stay at the back of the restaurant.
At night, same as Monday and Tuesday.
Thursday:
7.15: the same thing.
University until 17.20 (one hour to eat)
The only day that I don’t have to go to work!!!!!!
At night, romantic diner (candlelight, wine, music,...) and watch a movie.
Friday:
10.30: Get up (in the first part of the year I had to get up at 7.15…).
University from 12.00 till 14.20.
Take a nap and study a little (until 19.15).
Work until past one o’clock, and if I’m unlucky it could even be two o’clock in the morning… (Weekend, party, everyone’s having a ball (minus the ones who have to work)).
Saturday:
11.55: Get up.
12.30 Take the subway to work.
Between the two shifts I stay at the restaurant, to study, or to relax, because it takes me approximately 35 minutes to get home, so back and forth it’s more then an hour.
We finish more or less at the same time as on Friday nights.
Sunday:
Same thing as Saturday.
The only difference is that at night, (with a bit of luck) I finish earlier…
At night I have some trouble sleeping, because I’ve been going to sleep at around 4 o’clock in the morning the last two days…
So this has been my schedule for the last two years, and it has truly been a big effort. But when I think of what's awaiting me at the end of the road, I hold on.
Well, from next month onwards I’ll be working a different schedule, I don’t know which one yet, but I’ll be off for 2 and a half day’s straight… relax a little.
And if I pass this year (and I do think I will) the third year we start at 15.00 at university. Great!!!!
And this summer, the south of France and Italy are awaiting us, less then 2 months to go…

DE EINDSPRINT.
Dag allemaal,
Ja we maken ons klaar loor de eindsprint, binnen twee weken beginnen de examens…
Maar dat betekent ook dat ik niet werken moet (vakantie)…
Na de examens zal ik terug back to normal kunnen gaan…
Want mijn dagindeling was een klein beetje zwaar:
Maandag:
7.15: opstaan.
8.30: naar de uni tot 13.30.
14.20 : thuis eten en dan siesta slapen ongeveer 45 minuten ( afhankelijk van de graad van slaaptekort.
Dan een beetje studeren.
19.15: de metro nemen naar ‘t werk.
19.50: avondeten en werken.
Werken tot ( afhankelijk van de klanten) tussen 00.15 en 01.30…
En dan naar huis, het uur van thuiskomst is afhankelijk van de metroverbindingen, ten vroegste 01.00 en ten laatste 02.30
Dan uiltjes vangen ( knappen?) en natuurlijk heb ik in gedachte dat binnen enkele uren de wekker ringen zal!!!)
Dinsdag.
7.15: hetzelfde liedje.
Unit tot 14.30…
De rest van de dag , same as maandag.
Woensdag.
7.15: opstaan.
Uni tot 10.20… ( het eerste deel van het jaar tot 12.50).
Snel naar huis om een beetje te slapen.
12.30 metro naar ‘t werk …
13.10 eten.
13.30 Restaurant opent z’n deuren.
Werken tot (tenminste) 16.15 maar kan ook tot 18.00 zijn (afhankelijk van hoe verveelend de klanten zijn).
Dan een beetje uitrusten, als ik vroeg klaar ben ga ik naar huis, anders blijf ik in het restaurant.
'S avonds idem als maandag en dinsdag.
Donderdag:
7.15: alweer hetzelfde liedje.
Uni tot 17.20 (een uurtje om tee ten tussenin).
De EENIGE dag dat ik niet werken moet!!!!!!!!!!!!!
‘S avonds een romantisch etentje, kaarslicht, lekker wijntje en muziek, dan filmpje of…
Vrijdag:
10.30: opstaan ( gedurende het eerste deel van het jaar moest ik ook om 7.15 opstaan)
Uni van 12.00 tot 14.20.
Naar huis eten, een beetje slapen en een beetje studeren (tot 19.15).
Werken tot na 01.00, en als ik geen geluk heb zou het zelfs tot 02.00 kunnen zijn… (weekend, feestje, iedereen maakt plezier ( buiten diegenen die werken moeten)).
Zaterdag.
11.55: opstaan ( ja ik slap uit in het weekend).
12.30 de metro naar het werk.
Tussen de twee ploegen blijf ik in het restaurant, om te studeren of uit te rusten, omdat ik ongeveer 35 minuten nodig heb om naar huis te gaan , dus heen en terug is het meer dan een uur.
Het werk loopt ten einde om ongeveer dezelfde uur als de vrijdagavond.
Zondag:
Idem als zaterdag.
Enkel s’ avonds, ( met een beetje geluk) heb ik vroeger gedaan met werken…
Maar als ik naar bed ga heb ik een beetje problemen om de slap te vatten, omdat ik de laatste dagen rond 4 uur ga slapen…
Dit is dus mijn tijdschema van de laatste twee jaartjes, en het is echt een grote opoffering geweest. Maar als ik denk aanwat era an het eind van de weg op me wacht, hou ik vol…
Maar vanaf volgende maand heb ik terug een andere tijdsindeling tot oktober, ik weet nog niet juist hoe , maar ik weet dat ik 2,5 dagen per week en na elkaar vrijaf zal hebben… eindelijk een beetje de batterijen opladen.
En als ik dit jaar slaag (en ik ben ervan overtuigd dat het zo zal zijn), dang a ik naar het derdejaar en de les begint om 15.00… HEEERLLLLIIIIJJJJKKKKK!!!!!
En deze zomer, via het cuiden van Frankrijk naar italia, ongeveer 20 dagen… nog iets minder dan 2 maand en het is zover…
Is dit alles???? Oeoeoeoeoeoe ( DoeMaar)

Buenos días a todos,
Pues si ya esta la recta final, solo quedan quince días para que empiecen los exámenes… y con ellos las vacaciones en el trabajo…
Después tendré unos meses de vida más o menos normal…
Hasta ahora mi horario semanal era un tanto (sobre) cargado:
Lunes:
7.15: levantarse
8.30: clase hasta las 13.30.
14.20: casa una siesta de +- 45 minutos (en razón del cansancio acumulado)
Estudiar un rato…
19.15: salir corriendo hacia el trabajo.
19.50: cenar y trabajar.
Trabajar hasta (depende del cliente) entre: 00.15 y 01.30…
Llegar a casa depende de las conexiones en el metro entre 01.00 y 02.30.
Dormir… (Sabiendo que dentro de unas pocas horas suena el despertador).
Martes:
7.15: igual.
Clase hasta las 14.30…
Resto del día igual al lunes.
Miércoles:
7.15: igual.
Clase hasta la 10.20… (Primera parte del año hasta las 12.50).
Corriendo a casa para una pequeña siesta.
12.30 Salir hacia el trabajo…
13.10 Comer.
13.30 Abren las puertas del restaurante.
Trabajar hasta (mínimo (pero no muy frecuente)) 16.15 o incluso hasta las 18.00
(O más: depende de lo “plasta” que sean los clientes).
Descansar otro rato, si termino pronto en casa, sino en la parte trasera del restaurante.
Por la noche el mismo programa que lunes y martes.
Jueves:
7.15: igual
Clase de 8.30 hasta 17.20 (una hora para comer entre las 14.00 y 15.00).
¡¡¡¡Único día que no trabajo!!!!
Por la noche, cenita romantica (velitas, vinito,...) y película.
Viernes:
10.30: Levantarse (primera parte del año a las 7.15 igual)
12.00 hasta 14.20 clase.
Dormir siesta y luego estudiar un poco (hasta las 19.15).
Trabajar hasta la 1y algo, y si tengo mala suerte incluso hasta las 2 de la mañana… (Fin de semana, fiesta divertimiento para todos (menos para los que trabajan, claro está)).
Sábado:
11.55: levantarse.
12.30: metro hacia el trabajo.
Entre los dos turnos de trabajo me quedo en el restaurante, para estudiar, o para descansar (siesta) ya que tardo una media de 35 minutos para llegar a casa, ida y vuelta son más de una hora…
Hora de salida igual que el viernes.
Domingo:
Igual que el sábado.
Única diferencia que por la noche, (con un poco de suerte) salgo antes…
Por la noche me cuesta un poco dormirme, ya que me he acostado dos días a las tantas 04.00 de la mañana…
Así llevo dos años, y la verdad que me cuesta. Pero cuando pienso en lo que me espera al final del camino, aguanto…
Bien pues a partir del mes que viene tendré otro horario en el trabajo, no se aun cual pero tendré 2 días y medio libre seguidos... y a descansar un poco.
Además si apruebo el segundo año (y pienso lograrlo) en el tercer año tenemos clase a partir de las 15.00. ¡¡¡¡Que bien!!!!
Y este verano nos espera el sur de Francia e Italia, quedan menos de dos meses…

Hello everyone,
Well, yes, the final countdown, only 15 days left to start the exams…
But that also means I won’t be working (holidays)…
After that I’ll have a more or less normal life…
Because until now my schedule was a bit heavy:
Monday:
7.15: get up
8.30: university until 13.30.
14.20: home and a nap (siesta) +-45 minutes (depending on how sleepy I am)
Study a while…
19.15: get to the subway and go to work.
19.50: have diner and work.
Work until (depending the costumers) between: 00.15 and 01.30…
Get home depending how the subway connects between 01.00 and 02.30.
Sleep… (Knowing that within a few hours the alarm will start buzzing…).
Tuesday.
7.15: the same thing.
University until 14.30…
The rest of the day, same thing as Monday.
Wednesday:
7.15: the same thing.
University until 10.20… (The first part of the year until 12.50).
Quickly home to take a little nap (siesta).
12.30 get the subway to go to work…
13.10 Eat.
13.30 The restaurant opens.
Work until (at least 16.15 (but more likely until)) 18.00 or later. (Depending on how annoying the clients are).
Relax a little; if I finish early I go home, if not I stay at the back of the restaurant.
At night, same as Monday and Tuesday.
Thursday:
7.15: the same thing.
University until 17.20 (one hour to eat)
The only day that I don’t have to go to work!!!!!!
At night, romantic diner (candlelight, wine, music,...) and watch a movie.
Friday:
10.30: Get up (in the first part of the year I had to get up at 7.15…).
University from 12.00 till 14.20.
Take a nap and study a little (until 19.15).
Work until past one o’clock, and if I’m unlucky it could even be two o’clock in the morning… (Weekend, party, everyone’s having a ball (minus the ones who have to work)).
Saturday:
11.55: Get up.
12.30 Take the subway to work.
Between the two shifts I stay at the restaurant, to study, or to relax, because it takes me approximately 35 minutes to get home, so back and forth it’s more then an hour.
We finish more or less at the same time as on Friday nights.
Sunday:
Same thing as Saturday.
The only difference is that at night, (with a bit of luck) I finish earlier…
At night I have some trouble sleeping, because I’ve been going to sleep at around 4 o’clock in the morning the last two days…
So this has been my schedule for the last two years, and it has truly been a big effort. But when I think of what's awaiting me at the end of the road, I hold on.
Well, from next month onwards I’ll be working a different schedule, I don’t know which one yet, but I’ll be off for 2 and a half day’s straight… relax a little.
And if I pass this year (and I do think I will) the third year we start at 15.00 at university. Great!!!!
And this summer, the south of France and Italy are awaiting us, less then 2 months to go…

9 AÑOS EN ESPAÑA.
Pues si hoy cumplo años:
9 años en España, llegé el 7 de Mayo 1996.
Aeropuerto de Palma de Mallorca, con todos los bultos y la gata Maite.
Había un amigo de belgica ( corri di neel (Kurt)) que me pregunto para cuanto tiempo me iba a España, le dijé que por lo menos para unos 10 años, asi qu me queda un año para cumplir...
Al final seran 11, ya que me quedan 2 años más para terminar la carrera.
¿Qué haré cuando termine la carrera? Pues nos ( mi mujercita y yo) iremos unos 6 meses a Londres, yo para trabajar de traductor interpréte jurado de inglés y castellano y ella para perfeccionar su inglés. Y por supuesto para visitar castillos, museos,hacer el camino de Canterbury y visitar la casa y el teatro de Sheakespear en Strafford upon Avon ( mi mujer siendo actriz).
Después volveremos a España unos meses para irnos de nuevo esta vez con destino París, la ciudad de los enamorados... El Louvre, los castillos del Loira... Otros 6 meses...

Well today is a birthday,
or it would be better to say a rebirth,
nine years ago I arrived at Palma de Mallorca airport, with a lot of luggage and the cat, it seems like very long ago, but at the same time it seems like yesterday.
Before coming to spain, a friend of mine ( corrie di neel (Kurt)), who asked how long I was gonna be in Spain, I told him at least 10 years, well it's almost so far...
I think it'll be 11 in the end, because i still have 2 more years to go to finish my studies here.
What will I do when I'm finished?
Well first we ( me and my girl) want to go to London for 6 months, to work as translator interpreter in court ( english-Spanish and vice versa) and also to visit castles, mesea, Canterbury, Strafford upon Avon ( Sheakespears home... My girl is an actriz).
Then we'll go back to Spain for a couple of months , and our next stop will be Paris ( the city of lovers) The Louvre, Loire ( the castles) for another six months and then back to Spain and look for a job...

ja inderdaad, vandaag is het 7 mei en negen jaar terug kwan ik voor het eerst hier in Spanje aan,
In plaats van de geboorte te herinneren , is het meer een rebirth...
Negen jaar geleden, in 1996, kwam ik met al mijn valiezen en met Maite in haar kooitje op het vliegveld van Palma de Mallorca, het lijkt heel lang geleden, maar tegelijkertijd lijkt het gisteren.
Voordat ik naar Spanje vertrok was er een vriend van me ( Corrie di neel, gizmo kaka de mol) die me vroeg voor hoe lang ik naar Spanje ging, mijn antwoord was toen tenminste 10 jaar. wel het is bijna zo ver... Alhoewel ik denk dat het uiteindelijk toch elf zal zijn, want ik moet nog twee jaar om mijn diploma te halen.
Wat ik daarna denk te doen?????
Wel in de eerste plaats willen we ( mijn wuvetsche en ikke) naar Londen gaan wonen voor een stuk of eenigste maanden +- 6 ik om der te werken als juridisch vertaler tolk Spaans Engels en dan ook natuurlijk kasteeltjes gaan bezoeken , museums, Canterbury, Strafford upon Avon ( geboorteplaats van Shakespeare ( mijn wuvetsche is actrice ;-))) ( schrijft men dat zo in 't vlaams?)).
Nadien komen we enkele maanden terug naar Spanje en dan willen we een stuk of eenigste maanden naar Parijs gaan wonen, La ville des amoureux, Le Louvre, La Loire, enz...
En dan terug naar Spanje om nen job te zoeken, en natuurlijk als we in Parijs zijn zullen we wel af en toe ne keer naor den Belgique afkomen...

Ya estamos entrando en la recta final, queda menos de un mes para los examenes, habra 7:

Como tengo algo de experiencia en traducir no tendré que hacer gran cosa para los examenes de traducción, las demás habrá que esmerarse un poco, en particular el último examen...
Aqui sigue todo igual, mandé mi dirección de blog a mucha gente pero menos eduardo se ha dignado en escribirme un commentario...
Otra posibilidad es que piensan que es algun virus y por esta razon no se han venido a mi blog..

1 juni spaanse taal en kultuur.
2 juni vertalen Engels-Spaans.
3 juni vertalen Spaans-Engels.
6 juni Duits.
7 juni vertalen Frans- Spaans.
8 juni vertalen Spaans-Frans.
10 juni frans ;-))))
Aangezien ik een beetje ervaring heb in vertalen, zal ik niet te veel moeten doen voor die examens, maar voor de andere dire zal ik heel wat moeten studeren, en vooral voor frans...
Alles blijft hier hetzelfde, ik heb de link opgezonden naar iedereen , maar niemand heeft me een comment geschreven, enkel Eduardo ( de vriend die me in contact bracht met de Blog history).

Como tengo algo de experiencia en traducir no tendré que hacer gran cosa para los examenes de traducción, las demás habrá que esmerarse un poco, en particular el último examen...
Aqui sigue todo igual, mandé mi dirección de blog a mucha gente pero menos eduardo se ha dignado en escribirme un commentario...
Otra posibilidad es que piensan que es algun virus y por esta razon no se han venido a mi blog..

how are things hanging?
I'm approaching the end of the year and of course the exams, there will be (only) 7 :
1st of june Spanish language and culture.
2nd of june Translation English- Spanish.
3rd of june Translation Spanish-English.
6th of june German.
7th of june Translation French-Spanish.
8th of june Translation Spanish-French.
10th of june French.
As I have a bit of expierence in translating, I won't have to do much for those exams, but for the other three will to study quite a lot, specially for French...
Here everything is still the same, I've send the link for my blog but, noone has send me a comment (except for Edward)...
Maybe they think it's just some kind of virus...

Daag iedereen,
hoe gaat het ermee? Alles in orde hoop ik, hier ok.
De eindexamens komen er aan, ik heb er (enkel) 7 :
1 juni spaanse taal en kultuur.
2 juni vertalen Engels-Spaans.
3 juni vertalen Spaans-Engels.
6 juni Duits.
7 juni vertalen Frans- Spaans.
8 juni vertalen Spaans-Frans.
10 juni frans ;-))))
Aangezien ik een beetje ervaring heb in vertalen, zal ik niet te veel moeten doen voor die examens, maar voor de andere dire zal ik heel wat moeten studeren, en vooral voor frans...
Alles blijft hier hetzelfde, ik heb de link opgezonden naar iedereen , maar niemand heeft me een comment geschreven, enkel Eduardo ( de vriend die me in contact bracht met de Blog history).
Misschien denken jullie wel dat het de een of de andere virus is die ik jullie zend.

hola buenas todos,
acabo de recibir una invitación para entrar en un blog de un amigo,
y por consiguiente he pensado abrir uno yo también...
Como me va todo bien, falta 1 mes para los examenes finales de este año y parece que las cosas van bien, los simulacros de examenes han dado buenos resultados, todos aprobados menos uno...
Encima francés.. ( mi primer idioma) pero la profe tiene mucho que ver en la historia... en la última preuba aprobó 2 de los 2o y tantos que somos en clase... Ya hablé con la tutora y con el vice decano ya que mi beca depende de aprobar.. Y el vice decano ya me ha confirmado que mi beca para el año que viene no corre peligro. además no es el primer año que ocurre algo similar, así que después el examen de junio pediré una revisión del examen...( si no apruebo).
Cambiamos de tercio, este verano nos vamos a Italia: Venetia, Florencia, Roma,... Mi niña Nati ( es mi mujer pero le llamo mi niña) y yo, que ganas escapar de todo, del trabajo en el restaurante, de la universidad y de Madrid...

Hello everybody,
I just recieved an invitation to enter a blog from a friend, and it gave me the idea to open one for me, myself and I.
How are things hanging over here? everything OK, one more month before the final exams of my second year, and we had same sample exams and i've passed them all except one (french) ( yes I know it does sound impossible, being my first language), but the teacher has a large history of not approuving students. I've already filed a complaint , because my scholarship depends on my results. I've had a meeting with the headmaster and he has assured me that if i keep up as i've been doing so far there will be no problem with scholarships in the years to come!!!!!!!!
Anyway if I don't pass the exam I'll ask for a revision...
Now something completely different:
holidays are around the corner...
this summer we're going to Italy, yes, not to Mallorca ( where my family in law lives), well maybe we'll be over there a few days, but we're going to Venice, Firenze and Rome... By car so we can stop wherever we want...YES!!!! Finally getting away from the job in the restaurant, the university, and Madrid, just me and my girl...

Hallo, dag iedereen,
Ten eerste moet ik verontschuldiging vragen voor de mogelijke schrijffouten in de volgende teksten in het nederlands (daar ik slechts heel zelden in het nederlands schrijf, ik zou het zeer op prijs stellen moest een van de nederlandsschrijvende lezers me op de fouten willen wijzen).
goed hier zijn we dan, ik heb net een uitnodiging ontvangen om de Blog van een vriend te lezen en daardoor kwam ik op het idee er zelf ook een te openen...
Hoe gaat het hier met ons in Spanje? Alles in orde nog een maand te gaan en dan de eindexamens van het tweede jaar en de proefexamens die we gehad hebben tot nu toe heb ik allemaal geslaagd, enkel frans niet ( I know!!!!!!! lijkt onmogelijk vooral omdat frans mijn eerste taal is), maar de leerares is ervoor bekent om veel studenten te buizen ( lang geleden dat ik die term gebruikt heb, hihi!!!!) de laatste test zijn er maar 2 van de meer dan 20 die meer dan 5 gehaalt hebben. Ik heb reeds een klacht ingedient, want mijn beurs hangt van mijn uitslagen af, ik heb met de directeur gesproken en hij zal zien wat hij kan doen . En wat de beurs van de uni betreft heeft hij me al verzekerd dat ik niet moet vrezen, dat met de moeite die ik doe en de resultaten die ik tot nu toe gehad heb ik volgend jaar terug een beurs van de uni zal hebben ( studies kosten me 6500€ per jaar, dit jaar heb ik 4500€ gekregen!!!! ;-))).
In ieder geval ik ga mijn best doen voor de examens, mnaar moest ik niet slagen wil ik een examen revisie ('k weet niet of men dat kan zeggen in 't vlaams maar...).
En nu iets helemaal anders, de vakantie is al om de hoek aan het gluren...
En deze zomer gaan we naar italie, en niet naar Mallorca (waar de familie van mijn vrouwtje leeft), waarschijnlijk zullen we enkele dagen naar mallorca gaan maar we gaan naar Rome Florencia en Venetie.... Met de wagen, dan kunnen we stoppen waar we willen.
Eindelijk weg van het werk in het restaurant en van de uni, alleen mijn wuvetsche en ik.... Yes!!!!!
Dat is alles voor nu,

P.D. Ik zal proberen alle andere tekstjes ook in 't vlaams te schrijven, misschien kan ik het niet dezelfde dag maar , ter ere van mijn mama, ik mag dan wel in Spanje wonen ik ben en blijf VLAMING
